More insights about the Canadian market - the Acceleration program is thriving.
We gain more and more insights on the Canada market! During the third webinar of the acceleration programme in preparation to the Canada mission, we welcomed organisations like Quebec International, Quebec City, Propulsion Quebec, BCF Business Law and Leddartech who presented the Autonomous Vehicle ecosystem in Quebec.
We still have e 12 selected companies onboard the Canadian acceleration program and we’ve now had the pleasure to meet over a third session together with experts within the Canadian market. The talks, questions and ideas turn out to be more and more interesting. It is great to have AnteMotion, Auvetech, Bringauto, Büyütech, fleXstructures, Gears LTD, Hybrid- Airplane Technologies GmbH, InnoBrain, Nextérité, Nexyad, Sherpa Engineering and YoGoKo onboard on this journey.
During this session we were delighted to meet Québec International which mission is to support the Québec City region’s economic development and national and international standing. Their team works on daily basis with partners and stakeholders from around the world to support entrepreneurs, professionals and investors. The daily business is to remove obstacles and providing guidance for growth, every step of the way!
Speakers Paulina Aravena and Priscila Silva shared insights on Québec city, an easy and friendly business environment, and provided as well many references of different kind of local organisations (SMEs, university, research centers, clusters, incubators, etc.) and funding programs that will be really useful for the participating companies to find their way in the market.”
Propulsion Quebec is a Cluster for Electric and Smart transportation and supports today more than 210 members, from startups to large companies, including Quebec institutions, research centres and mobility operators. They challenge the entire sector around joint projects aimed at positioning Quebec as a global leader in developing and implementing smart and electric modes of ground transportation. Today speaker Karine Villeneuve shared their experiences, the avantages of instaling in Quebec (from the cost of energy till the access to local materials) and the trends and solutions filling the market.”
BCF Business Law is the go-to firm for business leaders, growing companies, and well-established global enterprises that have chosen Quebec and Canada as a stepping stone to growth and success. In this session, speaker Serge Lebel shared a presentation of tax, legal, contractual, intellectual property aspects, with a specific focus on Quebec.
Finally we got the honor to listen and take part of sucess stories from the company Leddartech where CEO Charles Boulanger gave us interesting take aways from their point of view. Leddartech is a leader in environmental sensing solutions for autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems.
